Description:
Micron Micromasters (Galactic Odyssey Collection, 2021)

Part of the Encounter 2 set of the Earthrise Galactic Odyssey Collection, representing Micron, Fireguard is an Autobot-aligned redeco of Siege Direct-Hit, transforming into the front half of a ”fire truck”, according to the online description for the set. Fireguard’s color scheme is heavily inspired by Wheel Blaze (who was already released as a non-combining figure in Siege), but they are apparently different characters.

Fireguard’s head is entirely painted. This can make his head extremely difficult to turn around. It also means his head is likely to experience paint-chipping -- even his stock image has a few chips in his face.

This mold was also used to make Earthrise Moonrock.

Roadburner is an Autobot-aligned redeco of Siege Power Punch, transforming into the back half of a military vehicle fire truck, according to the online description for the set. Regardless, Roadburner is fairly inaccurate to his original toy; since he lacks the red aerial ladder found on his original toy - the black cannon on his back is probably intended to represent a water pump.

This mold was also used to make Earthrise Missile Master.

Fireguard can combine with their partner Roadburner to form a complete ”fire truck”. However, Fireguard is a serviceable vehicle on their own; possessing red guns on top when their combiner port is not flipped down. Additionally, the duo can be inverted in their combined mode, using Roadburner’s water pump as a shoulder cannon for a larger figure.

Decepticon Runner is a redeco of fellow Race Track Patrol member Roller Force, and transforms from a robot into an off-road buggy with a racing spoiler. He comes with the final Race Track Patrol member, Motorhead, intended to complete the team for hardcore collectors.

Motorhead is a redeco of fellow Race Track Patrol member Ground Hog, and transforms from a robot into a muscle car with side exhaust pipes. He comes with the Race Track Patrol leader, Decepticon Runner, intended to complete the team for hardcore collectors.

Decepticon Runner and Motörhead can combine to form a wieldable weapon, with Decepticon Runner forming the main gun while Motorhead forms the ammunition storage.

Stingracer is a Decepticon-aligned redeco of Hot Rod Patrol member Trip-Up, and transforms from a robot into a muscle car with an engine blower. They can combine with Windstorm to form a wieldable weapon, but as the duo is from opposing factions this isn’t really feasible, at least canonically.

Windstorm is a redeco of Hot Rod Patrol leader Daddy-O, and transforms from a robot into a hot rod reminiscent of a Chevrolet Bel Air. Windstorm can combine with Stingracer to form a handheld weapon, but as the duo are from opposing factions, this would be a very strange story presentation.

Notably, the product descriptions for Windstorm and Stingracer explicitly state that their vehicle modes are an homage to Kenner’s M.A.S.K. vehicles—specifically, the turquoise hot rod Hurricane and orange hot rod Stinger. Neither figure features any faction insignias.

A six-pack exclusive to Amazon, it bundled Autobots Fireguard, Roadburner and Windstorm, and Decepticons Stingracer, Runner, and Motorhead. Despite being labeled as ”Encounter 2” in the Galactic Odyssey Collection, this was the third set to be officially revealed. The reasons for this delay are unknown.
