Part of the seventh wave of 2010-2011 Generations toys, Thundercracker is a third redeco of the Classics Starscream mold, and the first one to be released to mass retail in Hasbro markets.
This version of Thundercracker features a darker blue than both the greenish-blue of the BotCon release, and the blue of the Henkei! Henkei! release. He also features a new deco layout and different striping from any of the previous versions. In the stock photo provided, he is slightly mis-transformed at the ankles.
BACK ON CYBERTRON™, THUNDERCRACKER WAS A MASTER OF USING SOUND TO HIS ADVANTAGE. HIS FEAR-INDUCING SONIC BOOMS WERE TUNED PERFECTLY TO THE COMPOSITION OF THE ATMOSPHERE. SONIC VIBRATIONS FROM HIS ATTACKS COULD BE FELT THOUSANDS OF MILES AWAY,
GENERATING PANIC IN THOSE NEARBY, AND DEEP UNEASE EVEN ON THE OTHER SIDE OF THE PLANET.
