An accessory to Fortress Maximus, Cerebros is a large Headmaster unit whose head is formed by the Spike toy. In turn, Cerebros transforms into the head of Fortress Maximus but does not actually need Spike to do so. Cerebros can also take the shape of a "communications room” when Maximus is in city mode.
The Japanese release of the toy also included a sword accessory for Cerebros (a.k.a "Fortress”).
This mold was also used to make Super-God Masterforce Grand, Car Robots Brave, and Robotmasters Zebres.
