It’s rare indeed to come across a product that is truly engaging for adults of different generations, but Reminiscing Millennium is not only a fun game of trivia and memory, but a wonderful way to encourage people to swap stories about their lives. Using a collection of game booklets, each player (or team) takes a turn at the spinner, then has to answer a ”Flashback” question on the decade that comes up. There are over 1,200 questions in the four books, and the ease of answering them is based not just on one’s knowledge of entertainment, history, people, and pop culture, but in what decade you were born. An intriguing ”point system” allows players to give each other a series of hints for each question, and what’s truly unique about this game is the option to tell a story based upon the subject of the question for a game point. The result is an appealing mixture of trivia game and oral history, all in an attractive sepia-toned package that’s great for a family reunion or just an informal evening of intergenerational nostalgia. --John Longenbaugh

You’re not getting older, you’re getting better... At REMINISCING, the game that proves crow’s feet and wrinkles don’t just happen... they’re earned! How much do you remember about the good old days? Did you ever wear a snood... a poodle skirt or bellbottoms? Do you recall dancing to Elvis records... or was it Disco Duck? Were you a Hippie, a Yippie, a Yuppie or just confused? REMINISCING not only challenges your memory of past events, fads, clothing, music, radio, TV and movies, but it also stimulates you to share thoughts and feelings from your own personal past. REMINISCING takes you on a nostalgic journey from the 1940’s to the 1990’s. Players over the tender age of 30 have a better chance of competing against more mature, veteran reminiscers, but let the younger people play too. They might learn something. Invite the folks and your oldest friends over. Rekindle the past and get down to some serious REMINISCING.
