Cover by Mike Deodato Jr. "The Harrowing” [Part 3], script by David Quinn, art by Mike Deodato Jr.; Hope has tried to summon the power that once transformed her into Lady Death but mystic flames threaten to burn her alive; She is approached by the spirit of her father to strike a deal that would save her but it is the archangel Michael (who is deeply infatuated with her) that saves her from the flames; Michael gives her the Eternal Scythe to replace her demonic sword, Nightmare, but Hope decides to hold onto her blade; When Pagan betrays her and cuts her down, Hope takes up the mystic scythe and is once again transformed into Lady Death just as a third angelic assassin shows up to test her.
