In Broken and Beautiful, players draft cards like bowls, cups, and tea jars to create high-scoring sets. As some pieces inevitably break, players must judiciously repair what has been shattered.
Whole pottery is valuable. Broken dishes are worthless. That which has broken and been repaired is uniquely precious.
Broken and Beautiful is a card-drafting and set-collection card game about kintsugi, the Japanese art of repairing broken pottery with gold lacquer. In the game, players draft cards like bowls, cups, bases, and tea jars to create high-scoring sets.
The Standard Edition contains a full 46-card deck, four reference cards, 14 ingot-shaped wooden resource markers, and wooden first player marker.
