Like his hero, the Roman god Mercury, Jabber is a messenger extraordinaire. He takes pride in physically delivering any message safely, securely, and in less time than anyone would imagine possible. Everything about him is engineered for speed, including his lightning-fast strings of run-on sentences that, unfortunately, his allies find annoying. It’s often impossible to discern what he’s talking about or get a word in edgewise.
To compliment Jabber’s messenger role his electron blaster cannon becomes Cipher, a companion robot with infallible memory banks that auto-erase should they be accessed without the proper key code. This makes using Jabber more secure than sending sub-space messages electronically. Jabber himself becomes a futuristic space car capable of breaking the sound barrier. In robot mode he moves so quickly he leaves a wake of spectral-images behind. More importantly for his job, he seems almost to traverse time and space when he travels, arriving at his destination more quickly than even his hyper-rapid movement should allow.
