Tracy Di Vincenzo - Exclusive Premiere (Bond Girls) action figure collectible [Barcode 611385280323] - Main Image 1
Title:
Tracy Di Vincenzo
Description:
James Bond had a reputation for many things but being a "one woman man” was not among them; until he met Countess Tracy Di Vincenzo. The couple had a potentially tragic introduction, when 007 rescued the bored socialite from committing suicide. Tracy was the daughter of Marc Ange Draco, head of Europe’s largest organized crime family. Concerned about his rebellious daughter’s mental stability, Draco attempted to bribe Bond into marrying her in the hope he will be able to give her the love she needs so desperately. Bond refuses, but does date Tracy on the condition that Draco help him locate 007’s arch nemesis Ernst Stavro Blofeld’s lair atop the Swiss Alps, where the mad genius is preparing to unleash bacterial warfare on the world. With Tracy’s able assistance. Bond succeeds in defeating the evil SPECTRE chief. Having finally found the woman he truly loves, 007 makes Tracy his wife. The honeymoon is short-lived, however, as Tracy falls victim to the murderous Blofeld, leaving Bond a heartbroken widower on his wedding day. "OHMSS” was largely dismissed by critics at the time of it’s release in 1969. Today, however, it is regarded as a classic entry in the series. Newcomer George Lazenby did a credible job in his one and only appearance as 007, and Diana Rigg (already famous for her portrayal of Emma Peel in TV’s "The Avengers”) was superb as Bond’s ill-fated bride Tracy.
