Armada Nightscream is a redeco of the Street Speed Mini-Con Team member Oval, transforming into a Saleen S7 luxury car. As a Mini-Con, he has a "Powerlinx” socket on his vehicle-mode underside (which ends up on his robot-mode left shin) which allows him to attach to any toy with a "Powerlinx” style 5 mm post; some toys have special Powerlinx posts that activate/unlock gimmicks when a Mini-Con is attached.
He was only available with the larger Autobot Airazor.
As a hasty addition to the Armada toyline to meet demand, Airazor was not available in Takara’s normal retail Legend of the Microns line. She was, however, offered in Japan as a "USA Edition” release, exclusive to Toys"R"Us stores.
This mold was also used to make Flat-Out and Plug. It was intended to be used for Energon Brakedown, but that toy was ultimately unreleased.
