The Robots in Disguise Sideways toy is a yellow and black redeco (and minor retooling, from changes made to the mold for a Japanese Microman version) of Road Rocket, transforming into a Yamaha GTS1000A racing motorcycle with a light-up rear wheel suspension/buzzsaw weapon. He came packaged with Axer in a Wal-Mart exclusive two-pack. Of note is that Sideways is, rather unusually, cast entirely from black plastic except for the transparent portions, with all other colors being paint.This set was released in Japan as a Toys"R"Us-exclusive "USA Edition” on May 30, 2002.This mold was going to be used to make Laser Cycle Jazz in Generation 2, but the line was cancelled before the toy hit full production.
