Generations Selects Gulf is an extensive retool of Power of the Primes Deluxe Class Terrorcon Blot, transforming from a robotic coelacanth-monster to a robot. With the exception of the fists, all of the prominent bright and dark pink parts are paint applications. He is able to form any limb or a large Targetmaster weapon for King Poseidon. Like other Generations Selects Seacons, Gulf has newly-tooled combiner hands with posable fingers, they also form part of the Targetmaster-style gun mode, with the handle being a Combiner Wars styled port that plugs in to the hand provided in this set. The hand can be plugged into the back of the tail in beast mode, or as the back of the feet in the combined mode, whilst Turtler’s feet components are at the front.
Gulf was released as a TakaraTomy Mall exclusive in Japan. The Seacons were also available via Hasbro Pulse and other online retailers in the U.S. and Canada. He was later redecoed as Coelagon.
