THE PREMISE: The universe is being gobbled up by supermassive black holes. Your mission is to use the full rainbow of quantum energy to erupt each black hole into a supernova and save the universe! Players compete against each other in a race to be the first to save the universe, even if that requires some friendly sabotage to stay ahead…. THE OBJECTIVE: To Win be the first player who collects the target number of Supernova Coins! Earn Supernova Coins by completing Rainbows, Rolling Supernovas, or as otherwise indicated by Cards. GAMEPLAY: Black Hole Rainbows is a turn-based game. There are four parts to every turn: 1. Roll Scatter Die 2. Place any Light Stones in your Black Hole 3. Supernova Roller (optional) 4. Mine two Light Stones and draw one Card. FUN COMBINATION OF CHANCE AND STRATEGY: With the dice there is an element of chance. Use the Supernova Roller for a 3 in 20 chance to earn a Supernova Coin. With the Cards there is an element of Strategy. Cards are interrupters. Use Cards at strategic moments of the game to sabotage other Players or gain Light Stones. NUMBER OF PLAYERS AND AVERAGE PLAYTIME: This Table Top game for adults and family can be played with 2 to 6 players and is suitable for ages 8 and older. The average playtime is 30 - 45 minutes.
