PREVIOUSLY:
After a long, drawn-out stand off, AUTOBOT leader OPTIMUS PRIME finally surrendered to his former brother-in-arms ULTRA MAGNUS. However, PRIME’S submission helped provide the
diversion needed for several of his AUTOBOTS to escape. Led by JAZZ, this handful of AUTOBOTS remained on Earth to fight on as robots in disguise. In the meantime, DINOBOT commander GRIMLOCK journeyed to the Arctic to locate a secret DECEPTION base where MEGATON had stored the other DINOBOTS. Back on CYBERTRON, SHOCKWAVE began to reformat the remaining DECEPTIONS to the new CYBERTRONIAN way of life, but it appears that not all of the new
recruits are subscribing to his new world order, especially STARSCREAM, who continues to scheme from the shadows against both SHOCKWAVE and his former ally SOUNDWAVE. Meanwhile, ULTRA MAGNUS is shocked to discover that SHOCKWAVE wishes to have the AUTOBOTS deactivated upon
their arrival to CYBERTRON.
