Synopsis:
Steven Spielberg takes us back to the scene of Jurassic Park in ”The Lost World,” the blockbuster sequel with even more dinosaurs, more action and more breathtaking visual effects than its record breaking predecessor.
It has been four years since the disaster at Jurassic Park on Isla Nublar. Left alone since the disaster, the dinosaurs have flourished. Entrepreneur John Hammond (Richard Attenborough), who has since lost control of his company InGen to his nephew Peter Ludlow (Arliss Howard), is anxious that the world see the dinosaurs in their ”natural” environment before they are eventually exploited. Hammond reveals to Ian Malcolm (Jeff Glodblum) that there was another island, Isla Sorna (”Site B”), 87 miles to the south of Isla Nublar, where dinosaurs were bred before being transported to the Park on Nublar. Malcolm is recruited by John Hammond to lead a research team to the island to visit and document the area. However Ludlow has sinister plans of his own to lead a team to the island to capture the dinos and bring them back to the U.S. to become attractions at a ”dino park” in San Diego. However....what was supposed to be a natural research adventure for one team, turns into a rescue mission of the other team with everyones life in extreme danger.
