A bomb squad cop in Boston is faced with his chequered past when a revenge-ridden Irish bomber escapes from prison and heads for Boston where he finds his old student and embarks on a terrorising bombing campaign against the cop’s colleagues until the two face off for the last time - but not before the cop faces the possible death of those he loves the most as a ’last-word’ attack by the bomber.
