When John inherits a house on a deserted tropical island from his uncle, he invites his veterinary student brother Matt and his girlfriend Nikki together with their friends Sara and Noah to fly with him in his seaplane and spend a few days relaxing and having a good time together in his new place. Everything is going well until Sara is attacked by a vicious dog, after that happened the group of friends decide to end their vacation early and leave to stop anyone else being hurt, but when they get to the seaplane they find it’s been cast adrift by a pack of dogs, and they have no chance to reach it. After that happens they think there’s nothing else to do but to retreat to the house where they were staying at. On the way there, while walking through the woods, they find a man called Luke, who accidentally discovered the island while out sailing with his girlfriend Jenny one day, and they decided to explore but unfortunately they were attacked by dogs and Jenny was killed, Luke somehow escaped tho but is covered in blood so the group of friends invite him back to their house for safety, however before they get there the pack of dogs catches up with them and Luke is killed by them. The group of friends manages to escape the dogs and they run to the house and luckily they all make it there in one piece, but the animals put the place under siege by surrounding it and the friends try to think of a means of escape from both the house and the island. One of them sneaks out of the house and he finds a car in one of the out building’s and they decide to explore the island in the safety of the car to see if there’s a way off the island or at least a telephone where they can call for help. While they are exploring they find an research facility which has been abandoned where the dogs must of come from, and inside they discover that the dogs have been genetically changed by the military to become a breed of unstoppable killers. Will the group of friends find a way off the island in safety or will the dogs kill them all?
