Victor and Matthew are work colleagues and best friends. Both are having marital problems, Victor’s wife wants to divorce him, while Matthew has no idea what’s wrong with the marriage, and he’s baffled why his wife wants to vacation separately from him and their daughter. They decide to go on holiday to Rio with their teenage children, Matthew’s 15 year old daughter, Nikki and Victor’s 16 year old daughter, Jennifer. Not long after they arrive Matthew gets drunk with the over sexed Jennifer while they are watching a Brazilian wedding, where she says to him that she’s had a crush on him for years, and the two of them end up having sex on the beach, and they start a secret, sexual affair together. Victor becomes furious when he finds out that there is a much older man in his daughter Jennifer’s life after he looks at her diary, and asks Matthew to help him look for her daughters lover. Matthew agrees to help his friend Victor on this wild goose chase as he is scared what he will do to him when he finds out the truth. When Matthew and Jennifer are next alone together he tells her that they should end their dangerous affair before her father finds out, but she is determined never to give him up, so they continue with the affair. Meanwhile, Nikki finds out about Jennifer’s affair with her father and she confronts her about it but Jennifer refuses to listen as she has fallen in love with Matthew. Meanwhile Victor and Matthew’s chase to find Jennifer’s lover takes a new twist one night as Victor mistakenly thinks it’s a cabaret singer as he is singing a song about her, and they get into a fight, when Victor and Matthew gets thrown out of the club, Matthew finally tells Victor that it’s actually him whose having the affair with his daughter, oddly and baffling tho, Victor takes the news better then expected. The next day Matthew’s wife, Karen turns up, and Victor reveals to Matthew that he’s been having an affair with his wife, that’s why she’s been behaving so strangely towards him and why she didn’t want to go on vacation with him as she wanted to stay as far away from Victor as possible, and that’s why Victor didn’t get as mad at Matthew’s affair as he felt guilty for having an affair with his wife. After the truth comes out and the affair between Matthew and Jennifer ends, Jennifer tries to commit suicide by overdosing on pills, and she’s rushed to hospital and survives. After this happens everyone argues amongst one other as everyone blames each other to what happened. Will everything turn out alright in the end for all of them or will Victor and Matthew not be friends anymore and will both of them split from their wives.
