Shakes plods about his duties as a party clown, and uses all of his free time getting seriously drunk. Blinks, another clown, wins the prized spot on a local kiddie show, which depresses Shakes even more. His boss threatens to fire him if he can’t get his act under control. But when someone murder’s Shakes’ boss and frames the alcoholic clown, he is forced to go undercover, posing as a hated mime, trying to find the information that will clear his name.
