Battery Use
There are two battery compartments located on the back panel.
Four AA batteries are required (not included)
The single battery slot controls the clock.
The triple battery slot controls the motion and light.
A small Philips screwdriver is needed to remove the covers.
If using only batteries, the lighting behind the clock and the pendulum will light only when it chimes on the hour.
Always remove batteries when not in use or while using the power cord to prevent damage to the connection points.
Power Cord/Adapter
The power cord/adapter can be used instead of batteries
Uses a 5V/0.7A Adaptor; plug sizes may vary
The adapter cord plugs into the back of the clock on the lower left side under the rectangular cut-out and plugs into a wall outlet.
ON/OFF switches are located on the lower left side of the clock.
When using the cord/adapter, the lighting behind the clock and the pendulum will be lit continuously.
Setting the Clock
When the clock is removed from the packaging, it should be set at 12:10 AM.
If the clock is not set at 12:10 AM:
Unplug the clock
Remove the top battery compartment cover
Press the ”Time Set” button
Turn the ”Time Adjust” dial to 12:10 (do this prior to inserting any batteries or plugging in the adapter).
Always set the time by turning the dial on the back of the clock so the hand move clockwise. Do not set the time by spinning the hands on the clock
To reset the clock, press the ”Time Set” button and turn the ”Time Adjust ” dial (make sure the hands on the clock are moving clockwise). For PM setting, turn the dial until the hour hand passes 12 o’clock.
If the chime does not function properly, press the ”Time Set” button again and reset the clock to the correct time.
Motion and Light
The Performance has three songs: ”Up On The Housetop”, ”Jolly Old St. Nicholas”, and ”We Wish You A Merry Christmas”. When the clock chimes, it plays a shortened version of a song.

Night Mode Function
The ”ON” setting will turn on the ”night mode” feature. This feature will turn off all sound, light, and motion features between the hours of 9 PM and 6 AM.
The ”OFF” setting will turn off the ”night mode” feature.
If you have the clock in night mode, it will not chime between 9 pm and 6 am.
Effect Mode Function
Move ”Effect” switch to ”ON” to activate light, sound, and motion shows when the clock strikes the hour. The pendulum has constant motion.
Move ”Effect” switch to ”OFF” to deactivate light, sound, and motion shows when the clock strikes the hour.. Time keeping and pendulum motion will remain constant. The buttons on the clock and remote will continue to activate a feature show.
Remote Control
The remote controls the motion and light and plays three different feature shows.
It requires ”LR44” button-cell batteries, which are included.
The remote may be stored in the lower center compartment on the back of the clock.
