Studio Series Drift is an extensive redeco (and a new head retool) of his previous Deluxe class figure in more screen-accurate colors akin to his portrayal in The Last Knight. In addition to his swords and daggers from previous releases of the mold, he comes with small figures of the Baby Dinobots, one larger sword, and a cardboard backdrop depicting the junkyard from The Last Knight, particularly the spot where Drift does his meditative feats.
’Tops features articulation on all 4 of his legs. Similar as to how Slug has on Autobot insignia on his beast mode’s forehead, ’Tops has an Autobot dog tag attached to his head.
Pterry is the most articulated of the Baby Dinobot figures, having rotations on both his legs, wings, and an opening jaw.
Sharp-T features articulation at his hips and jaw, making him the least articulated Mini-Dinobot.
According to the Mini Dinobot Pre-Bowl, ’Tops is a mere 9 1/2” tall (and a running back), Pterry is 1’1” tall (and a wide receiver), and Sharp-T is 1’1” tall (and a quarterback).
The set was originally available through Entertainment Earth, but was subsequently also offered by other online retailers. In Japan, the set was released as a Toys”R”Us exclusive. When ordered at Entertainment Earth, Drift came with 2 enamel pins: one of his robot mode and the other of the Studio Series logo.
