Golden Lagoon Starscream is a gold and gold chrome redeco of Unite Warriors Starscream in homage of the original cartoon episode of the same name. In exchange for the gun/fist/foot accessory of his original release, Starscream comes with the Power of the Primes Prime Armor that originally came with Dreadwind. The Prime Armor has a place for a Prime Master (or Enigma, or Matrix core) and can transform into a hand for a Combiner. He also comes with a piece that can fill the gap in the chest armor or be held by Starscream as a gun. He was released by TakaraTomy Mall and in Cybertron Satellite stores as part of TakaraTomy’s celebration of the brand’s 35th anniversary. In 2019, he also saw an official release in Australia, where he was available from Mr Toys Toyworld.
This toy also appeared in the Generations Selects Special Comic as a member of the Golden Age, who may or may not be named ”Starscream”, while the Combiner hand/Prime Armor was repurposed as the Matrix Gauntlet used by Yellow Splendid Convoy.
