Released in the ”Autobot Alliance” 2-Pack with Prowl in the Earthrise toyline, Ironhide is an extensive retooling of his Siege counterpart, transforming into a van similar to his original Nissan mode. He features a new chest/windshield, bumper, lower arms, and leg panels, as well as a roof piece that converts into a shield in robot mode. While similar to the Siege version’s head, the toy’s head is also new, remolded to have less detailing and to be more cartoon accurate. In lieu of the Doomblast Forge Launcher (which this figure can wield if you wish), the shield can also become a giant four-barreled cannon. For a little extra firepower, Ironhide also comes with a smaller pistol. Conveniently, this gun can be stored on the underside of the shield, tucking away neatly in van mode.

Although the figure features molded windows in van mode, said windows lack any paint, tampographs, or decals for color, which causes inconsistencies when combined with the translucent plastic from the roof to complete them. Similar to the Siege iteration, the figure’s robot mode feet stick out conspicuously from the van mode’s backside. Lastly, Ironhide’s red color is visibly inconsistent throughout the combined figure, with some parts appearing more pink than red against the darker red pieces.

The Drill Gun seen in ”More than Meets the Eye, Part 3” is sold separately as part of the War for Cybertron Trilogy Deluxe Centurion Drone Weaponizer Pack. Buzzworthy Bumblebee / War for Cybertron Trilogy ”Worlds Collide” Bumblebee includes Earthrise Cliffjumper’s bazooka redecoed in green, matching Ironhide’s bazooka in ”Transport to Oblivion”, effectively adding another weapon to this Ironhide toy’s arsenal.

Prowl is a remold of Bluestreak which is a remold of Smokescreen with a new face and front grill, transforming into a police car none-too-dissimilar from his original Datsun mode. Earthrise Prowl’s transformation scheme shares many similarities to his Siege counterpart, but uses completely new parts. Prowl comes with a single blaster, but like the aforementioned figure does not include shoulder cannon accessories, although he can use the ones included with his moldmates.

Prowl’s head is a straight redeco from Bluestreak’s rather than using his actual head design. If you desire however, similar to Optimus Prime of the same and previous lines, Earthrise Prowl’s head can be (carefully) popped off and replaced with that of his Siege figure, giving him his proper head. In some cases, this might require a bit of sanding of the neck’s ballpeg, especially considering some instances of the figure’s neck ballpeg can be oversized even for the stock head. Two different variants of Prowl exist with slightly different knee joints, one of which adds a tiny tab of plastic to the inside of the kneecap and includes additional tabs behind the car hood to better secure the car mode.

The map piece that comes with Ironhide and Prowl is the mysterious Nebulon Station.
