Generations Power of the Primes Predaking is a Titan Class-sized combiner composed of Razorclaw, Torox (a renamed Tantrum due to trademark availability issues), Rampage, Headstrong, and Divebomb. He also comes with the Onyx Matrix, containing Onyx Prime, a Prime Master. The Matrix can be attached inside Predaking’s chest, under Razorclaw’s beast head. Much like his G1 toy, Predaking’s limbs can switch orientation, but this isn’t recommended as it leaves the plastic screwholes at the front.
In July 2018, 5 Predakings with packages signed by Shogo Hasui were released as a giveaway prize for Toys"R"Us Taiwan’s sale campaign (which ran July 15–31.).Despite being in the same size class, due to being made of five component robots instead of six, he stands a few millimeters short of Combiner Wars Devastator.On November 11, 2018, Hasbro’s official Tmall store provided a free sonic sword for every Predaking purchased, as a promotional item for China’s Singles Day (the Chinese equivalent of Black Friday).The sword "blade” is made of very soft rubbery plastic, with a hidden rod inside it containing a wooden ballpoint pen. Unfortunately, even with the rod inside, many collectors found the sword to be unstable and prone to drooping or falling apart under its own weight.
