Cyclonus was later released as part of the third wave of Hasbro’s Heroes of Cybertron line in 2003. This release was cast in transparent red plastic and painted over (in a more lavender tone than the SCF version’s light blue), leaving his eyes and back of his head unpainted to try for a light-piping effect, though the result ends up on him having a visor. The mold was also modified to have the pointed edges on his horns and wing-tips rounded off for safety reasons.
