Power of the Primes Starscream transforms from a robot that utilizes the Evergreen-styled design into a fighter jet. He also features some markings on his jet mode: an Autobot kill count on the right side of the cockpit, and a Decepticon symbol with the number "D-22” (a reference to Starscream’s Japanese ID number). Starscream can also form the torso of an unnamed combiner using any selection of Combiner Wars-style Deluxe Class figures as limbs. His instructions and TakaraTomy stock photos depict him with the Power of the Primes Deluxe Class figures from Wave 1. He also includes Prime Armor that can hold a Prime Master (and by extension, a Titan Master, Enigma, or Matrix core) and can turn into feet for said unnamed combiner. The silhouette of Starscream’s torso mode appears to homage the robot mode of another Starscream. Like all the other Voyager Class figures, Starscream includes an Enigma of Combination (dubbed the Seeker Enigma), based on a Prime Master, which can attach to Starscream via the previously mentioned Prime Armor or the combined mode chest, which can also facilitate the other previously mentioned objects.
Though designated for a first quarter 2018 release, Starscream’s wave reached U.S. store shelves in December 2017.
There are several reports of the peg that connects the wings often refusing to connect well. In 2018, a running change was made in the re-release of the toy: the peg that connects between the wings and the robot back has been retooled to connect firmly. The only way to identify this running change is the code "73101” stamped onto the box.
Starscream was later retooled into Elita-1.

Power of the Primes Voyager Class Starscream can be linked with any four compatible Combiner Wars
Deluxe Class figures to form an unnamed combiner. Starscream’s instructions and TakaraTomy stock photos depict the Combiner formed from the wave 1 Power of the Primes Deluxe Class figures, with Slug and Jazz as the left and right arms, respectively, and Swoop and Dreadwind as the left and right legs, respectively. By contrast, the Combiner art on the side of Starscream and Dreadwind’s packaging shows Blackwing and Dreadwind as the left and right arms, respectively, and Sinnertwin and Blot as the left and right legs, respectively.
As a Power of the Primes Combiner, a Prime Master, Matrix core, or Enigma can be installed within the Starscream Combiner’s chest, hands, or feet, such as the "Seeker Enigma” that comes packed with Starscream.
