Maverick is squadron leader of the ’Ethereaon Air Defense Force,’ an elite jetfighter team with the mission of repelling the air superiority capabilities of the enemy. With an advanced tactical mind and a flair for outmaneuvering his adversaries, Maverick could be a talented commander. He is held back by his lack of confidence and the strong, rebellious personalities of his team members.
In Concord mode Maverick acts as a supersonic command center, coordinating maneuvers of his Air Defense Force strike fighters while keeping pace with them. Cutting edge radar systems and computational processors allow him to track and anticipate the positions of up to 1,000 enemy combatants. He defends himself with a supercharged electrostatic bolt that is fired in any direction through a conductor in his nose cone or, while in robot mode, an electrobolt rifle.
When additional strength is required, Maverick combines with his Air Defense Force squad mates to form Ethereaon, a highly maneuverable super-gestalt robot. Ethereaon’s rival is Marauder.
