Paranoia. Stress. Nervousness. Spoiler feels everyone has it in for him. He’s constantly on edge, jumping at small provocations and imagined insults. He wishes he were stronger like Roadking. He wishes he were less noticeable. He’s not sure other members of the street gang Demolition Derby really like him. Unsurprisingly, Spoiler gets into a lot of fights.
Spoiler shifts into a sleek 1980s earth sportscar. He hates it. He’s pretty. Everyone looks at him. He’s uncomfortable with his speed and maneuverability. He’s too fragile. Plus, some of his enemies have the same exact car form. He’s convinced they are copying him to get under his skin...er...metal.
Ironically, it’s Spoiler who causes others to stall out-sonic waves from his vibrating engine can cause nearby mechanical systems to fail. The shockwaves from his concussion rifle have similar effects. Spoiler joins with other members of Demolition Derby to form the giant robot Marauder. That is, when he’s persuaded to be a team player.?
