Released as part of the second wave of Transformers R.E.D. toys, Arcee is a non-transforming 6-inch action figure akin to the ones from the Marvel Legends and Star Wars The Black Series lines. She features 26 points of articulation and extensive paint operations in an attempt at show-accuracy.
Arcee’s chest plate can be removed to reveal details meant to represent her "inner workings”. She includes two pairs of hands: two closed fists, and two open hands to hold (non-included) weapons or accessories; her hands can also be completely removed and replaced with her Ion Blaster accessories. Also included are a pair of blade accessories that can plug into her forearms, along with two blast effects that can slide onto the blades’ edges to represent a slash attack. Finally, she also comes with a translucent, purple, cube-shaped chunk of unrefined Dark Energon ore. Arcee’s stock CG renders show her slash effects variously in the same colors as the Dark Energon crystal or her blue paint applications; the toy as released features them in unpainted grey.
As with all R.E.D. toys, Arcee was a Walmart exclusive in Canada and the United States, and was later made available on Hasbro Pulse in limited quantities.
