Generation 2-themed redecos of the Combiner Wars Aerialbots including Quickslinger instead of Alpha Bravo, as well as Powerglide (sporting a new, made-up deco), were released as a giftset, including a collector card and a cardstock poster (of Combiner Wars Superion in his original, Generation 1-inspired colors). Though Quickslinger doesn’t seem to crumble like Generation 2 Slingshot did, there are scattered reports of Silverbolt having some breakage problems due to his thin combiner head joint.
He is a thing of glorious, eye-searing 90’s beauty.
Similar to the ”May Mayhem” single release of Quickslinger, the Superion ”Collection Pack” was also a ”shared exclusive” between various online retailers and the online storefronts of major ”big box” retailers in the United States, but was available at general retail in Hasbro’s Asian markets.
