Title:
Transformers: Decepticon Quake & Chasm
Description:
Chasm & Decepticon Quake (Deluxe Class, 2017)
Accessories: "Chasm” Titan Master, rifle, tank turret
Titans Return "Decepticon Quake” is a redeco of Hardhead, transforming into a futuristic tank of made-up model. Although Quake’s tank treads are merely molded detail, he possesses a set of hidden wheels underneath the front of his vehicle mode and in his rear tank treads that allow him to roll. His non-firing turret can be opened to reveal a seat that allows any Titan Master figure to man it in both modes, and his rifle can plug into the top of his larger gun. He sports four pegs on his treads that allow any Titan Master figure to attach to his vehicle mode. The rifle can also be mounted on one of these pegs. In robot mode, he can either use his larger gun on his shoulder (as shown in the picture) or carry it in his hand, though due to its size it can make the figure somewhat unstable.
Quake comes with his Titan Master partner Chasm (retooled from Furos), who fits into his vehicle mode cockpit and transforms into his robot mode head. As with other Titans Return toys, Quake can accommodate any Titan Master figure in both robot and vehicle mode.
Quake was first released at retail in the Philippines, and subsequently the United States, in early 2017, with Perceptor and Sergeant Kup being the only figures that from his wave had been officially announced by Hasbro by that point. Hasbro didn’t acknowledge the existence of Quake, Krok and Topspin until Toy Fair, over a month after their release in the Philippines and two weeks after the first sighting at US retail.
