Title:
Liege Maximo Power Of The Primes 2
Description:
Liege Maximo (Prime Master, 2017)
Japanese ID number: PP-02
Japanese release date: May 25, 2018
Accessories: Skullgrin decoy armor, claw
Power of the Primes Liege Maximo comes with decoy armor modeled after Skullgrin’s Pretender shell. The armor is capable of storing Liege Maximo inside the shell, or transforming into a battle claw which Liege can plug onto while in Spark mode. Liege Maximo’s robot mode is also modeled after Skullgrin’s inner robot mode. Similar to all of the decoy armor, the weapon piece for weapon mode can detach and be held by the decoy armor. The decoy armor was retooled into Bomb-Burst armor.
Notes
Skullgrin initially appeared in the 2005-2018 IDW comics in a new mechanical design mostly based on the classic Pretender shell before dying in Stormbringer #3. This left an apparently separate Cybertronian inspired by the inner robot design alone to be Skullgrin’s Japanese counterpart Dauros. Bomb-Burst and Blood shared a similar pattern in this continuity.
However, Skullgrin eventually reappeared in Lost Light #14 drawn according to the inner robot design. He then made a final cameo appearance in Optimus Prime #20 drawn according to the Pretender shell.
