The stunning beauty was the owner and operator of "Pussy Galore’s Flying Circus,” an all female stunt pilot team whose mission was to terminate hundreds of U.S. soldiers by spraying a lethal gas into the skies over Ft. Knox, prior to Goldfinger’s invasion of the gold depository. Pussy had a change of heart, however, when she fell for James Bond, who convinced her to double cross Goldfinger and thwart his ingenious scheme. Pussy Galore was played by actress Honor Blackman, who had already gained a following as Patrick Macnee’s co-star on the classic TV series "The Avengers.” Her expertise in judo was a key factor in her being cast as Pussy Galore, as evidenced by the sequence in "Goldfinger” in which she proves to be more than a match for the flirtatious 007.
