Takara Tomy pays homage to the 35th anniversary of Transformers and commemorates the G1 cartoon airing in Japan with Transformers Masterpiece MP-52 Starscream Version 2.0, their third design for G1 Decepticon Starscream, following MP-3 and MP-11. He stands an impressive 10-inches tall in robot mode, is highly articulated, and transforms from a fighter jet to robot and back. As part of the Masterpiece line, he also scales with other figures in the toyline.
This new mold brings us a very cartoon-accurate representation of the Decepticons Air Commander with an impressive posability and a beautiful F-15 fighter mode.
This new figure also includes 5 interchangeable faces, a pair of alternate hands, a pair of null-ray cannons, 5 blast effects, Megatron gun, the drill seen in “The Core” episode, the claw and rock from “Cosmic Rust”, asteroid debris piece accessories, 4 stand pieces for display, a character card, and original Japanese-language instructions.
