Released to commemorate the 35th anniversary of The Transformers: The Movie, Studio Series Wreck-Gar is a Voyager Class-sized mold accurate to his appearance in the Generation 1 cartoon, right down to his laser nipples. Said nipples are actually mounted on ball joints, allowing them to aim in different angles.
He comes with his two spiky shields, which can attach to his arm or leg in robot mode or form his wheels when converting to his motorcycle mode. The wheels are not interchangeable; One is slightly thicker and designed to serve as the front wheel, while the other is slightly thinner and designed to serve as the back wheel. Wreck-Gar also comes with his four-bladed axe, which can either be stored on his back or held in his hand. Much like the 2010 Reveal the Shield release, one figure of Wreck-Gar can ride another in their alternate mode, although the riding figure is visibly larger than the scale of the motorcycle-mode figure, which is more suited towards deluxe-scale figures such as Studio Series Hot Rod. While his wheels are capable of spinning, the studs on them mean that they are more likely to scrap if pushed along a hard surface so care should be taken to avoid scratching the figure.
Like the other Studio Series toys, the interior of the package forms a display background for the toy. In this case, it’s the dance party on Junkion.
