Released in the fifth and final wave of Armada Giga-Cons, the "Powerlinx” redeco of Jetfire adds quite a lot more color to his deco, with large swathes of blue and bright highlights. This release uses the altered, countdown-less sound effects.
Powerlinx Jetfire was not part of the regular Takara Legends of the Microns line, but was released in Japan as a Toys"R"Us-exclusive "USA Edition”, in Hasbro packaging with stickers to relay important legal information in Japanese.
This toy was also repurposed as a clone of Spacewarp.
