Longhorn (Basic, 2000)
Part of the second wave of Beast Machines Basics, Longhorn transforms into a technorganic bull, complete with nose-ring. Pressing down on his "mane” in beast mode raises up his head as a "ramming” attack on a spring-loaded "see-saw” mechanism. His beast mode front hooves are sculpted as permanently-attached melee weapons in his robot mode hands. His spark crystal is hidden under a flip-up panel on his left rear leg.
Geckobot / Longhorn (2-pack, 2000)
Longhorn was also available in a two-pack with his fellow Maximal Geckobot. Both toys are actually on their original individual cards, but packed within a thick cardboard backing with "Beast Machines 2 Pack” printed on it. The set was sold at the now-defunct ToyCo retail store, which was similar to KB Toys and appeared in several of the "Mills” family of shopping centers, like Arizona Mills or Ontario Mills, in the late 1990s and early 2000s.
