Released in the sixth wave of Armada Super-Cons, Airazor is a redeco and retooling of the Deluxe Transmetal version of Beast Wars Airazor, transforming into a robotic falcon. She has a third semi-vehicle mode, her wings partially unfolding into a pontoon-plane-like configuration. She was given Powerlinx plugs on her wings which do not activate any features (as she doesn’t really have any), but are painted with "energy burst” effects. Bizarrely enough, a molded Decepticon sigil was added to her back, normally hidden in both modes. Why is anyone’s guess.
She came with her Mini-Con partner Nightscream.
As a hasty addition to the Armada toyline to meet demand, Airazor was not available in Takara’s normal retail Legend of the Microns line. She was, however, offered in Japan as a "USA Edition” release, exclusive to Toys"R"Us stores.
