Part of the third wave of Power of the Primes Legends Class toys, Cindersaur is a retool of Dinobot Slash, and can transform into a rough, robotic approximation of a Velociraptor. The toy’s beast mode jaw can open and close, along with a compartment on the beast mode back to fit a Prime Master inside when it is opened. In both modes, Cindersaur is fairly small for a Legends Class figure.
Some versions of the toy’s pack-in card have the prefix "Dinobot” attached to Cindersaur’s name, presumably a leftover from Slash. Additionally, the card for "Alpha Trion Cindersaur” refers to the character with the pronoun "her”, but the card for "Micronus Cindersaur” uses the pronoun "his”. Meanwhile, the backside packaging bio uses the masculine form of "warrior” in French/Spanish/Portuguese to describe Cindersaur.
Also paralleling Slash being a (non-combining) Dinobot, Cindersaur was referred as a Terrorcon by Hasbro Toy Shop.
