Title:

Fortress Maximus With Cerebros And Emissary 2nd Missing Parts

Description:
Emissary & Cerebros & Fortress Maximus (Titan Class, 2016)

Accessories: Cerebros, Emissary, 2 leg guns, gun turret

Titans Return Fortress Maximus is an elaborate retool of Generations: Thrilling 30 Metroplex, in many places relocating and repurposing its reused parts. It was the largest Transformers toy produced to date, until War for Cybertron Trilogy Unicron took that position. In robot mode, he retains Metroplex’s extensive articulation, and his head is formed by the Titan Master Cerebros, whose own head is in turn formed by the smaller Titan Master Emissary. Cerebros incorporates electronic light and sound effects: in Cerebros and "tower” modes, he’ll play two different laser blast sounds and say "Cerebros”, while in head mode he’ll say "Fortress Maximus”, "Autobot”, and "Decepticon” and also plays powering up and powering down sounds in addition to Cerebros’s laser sounds. Flipping the visor as part of the transformation between Cerebros and head mode plays a transforming sound. Measuring from foot to the tops of their respective heads, Fortress Maximus has a slight height advantage on Metroplex, regaining his title as tallest Transformers toy ever produced. For size comparison, a Leader class figure in robot mode comes up to just below his knee.Fortress Maximus sports his traditional leg guns, which can hinge up and down, and also be removed and attached to his shoulders or hands. The "command center” gun on the side of his left leg can also rotate, and the clear "control center” in his chest opens to reveal a turret which seats a Titan Master. Fortress Maximus retains the opening compartment in his right forearm from Metroplex, but the gun emplacement is no longer present, seemingly meant to represent the holding cell from his original toy given its red coloration. Similarly redundant shared features include his lower legs folding open and his arm being set on a hinge (his right arm as opposed to Metroplex’s left).Fortress Maximus can transform into either a battle station or a city, in which most of the aforementioned play features are still accessible. The city mode incorporates ramps on both arms and his left shoulder, which can be attached to the base modes of Titans Return Leader Class figures to form a larger "Cybertron City”. Due to their placement, some Leader Class figures may need to be altered from their official base mode configurations to connect properly. Additional connectors are on the inside of each leg.Like Metroplex, Fortress Maximus is packaged with his right arm detached in order to fit in his packaging. Please take note that if you transform Fortress Maximus into his vehicle or base mode, you need to push the leg flaps down hard until they click. It is also possible to press the flap down from inside the bottom of the foot, which is open. Due to the clip snapping into the gap between the two halves of the leg, some samples have a tendency for the feet to come loose. Pressing the two halves together firmly tends to reduce this issue. As with Metroplex, Fortress Maximus includes a sticker sheet to complete his deco. The sticker placement instructions do not show that there are additional direction indicators under his left leg gun and the frame that holds it, which makes it look like there are more stickers for them than necessary. The ones on his right leg are also covered by his foot in robot mode. Also similar to Metroplex, Fortress Maximus doesn’t come with his vehicular drone Cog (comprising Gasket and Grommet), though Cog was released 2 years later for the Siege toyline. This mold was also used to make Legends Grand Maximus and served as the model for the non-toy Neo Brave Maximus.
