The object is to kick your opponent in the chest hard enough to make him fly off the base. The electronic version would let out a blood-curdling scream when a fighter would fly off. Considered to be the "Rock’em Sock’em robots” of the 90’s, Karate Fighters took the fighting genre to a new level. Imagine the video game "Mortal Kombat” brought to life.
