Part of the first wave of Power Core Combiners Commander Class figures, Caliburst was only available with his larger partner Huffer. He transforms from robot mode to two different cannon configurations; an anti-aircraft form meant for vehicle-mode use, or a longer mode for hand-held (or arm-mounted) use. He also has an "armor” mode that connects to a Commander’s chest- or back-mounted Powerlinx plug for use in either of their robot modes.This mold was also used to make Darkray and United Haywire.During the period between December 26 2010 and January 31 2011, Hasbro ran their "Supercharge Your Holidays” promotion: for every $20 spent on Hasbro-branded product, customers could receive a free, random product from a list provided by Hasbro. Among the items on the list was "Transformers Combiners & Speed Stars Mini Vehicle”. According to this discussion thread on Allspark.com, Huffer with Caliburst was one of the figures distributed.
