Part of wave 5 of War for Cybertron: Kingdom Voyager Class toys, Blaster transforms from robot to stereo cassette deck in 20 steps. He comes with his electro-scrambler rifle and Eject, who transforms into a mini-cassette which fits in Blaster’s chest. If you press up on the buttons on Blaster’s stomach, the chest drawer opens; Blaster’s right hand is molded to have a finger extended to help simulate poses of him activating his own buttons.
Eject is included with Blaster. He transforms from robot to a stereo cassette that can fit into Blaster’s chest (as per the norm). Arriving in stores in December 2021, Eject will also return as a package refresh for Legacy wave 1 with Blaster, and to bridge the two lines
Eject is molded in translucent blue, as Blaster was originally a Legacy toy pulled forward a wave, and that toyline’s gimmick is Energon weapons (and partners). Unfortunately, this makes him extremely prone to stress marks and fractures on all of his joints, so caution must be exercised when transforming or handling him. Along those lines, Blaster’s packaging art depicts his Electro-Scrambler being blue Energon painted partly black.
Though Blaster and Eject were scheduled for a first quarter 2022 release, they arrived on U.S. store shelves in December 2021.
Blaster’s audio dial has 11 sound levels - yes, he ”goes to 11”, a reference to the rock-and-roll mockumentary This Is Spinal Tap.
Blaster was redecoed into Shattered Glass Collection Blaster. Eject was redecoed into Shattered Glass Collection Rewind.
