He is heavily based on the live-action movie Bumblebee, with his head based on the Classics version of Generation 1 Bumblebee.
Bumblebee’s main car body, arms, and legs are also used by many many other car Bot Shots, such as Barricade, Mirage, Lockdown, Autobot Topspin, Autobot Jazz, Leadfoot, Roadbuster, Go! BeCool Kenzan, and their numerous redecos.
