The Transformers Encore series of reissues featured a set similar to the 2004 The Transformers Collection Minibots set; this time, rather than a mix of 1984 and 1985 Mini-Vehicles, it included mostly figures from 1986 plus Bumblebee (whose original toy had still shipped in 1986), bundling him with Outback, Pipes, Swerve, and Tailgate. Encore Bumblebee retains the show-accurate head sculpt from the Transformers Collection release, but now sports several additional paint operations: his eyes are blue, his brake lights are red, and his bumpers and headlights are silver.
