The original Starscream toy was reissued as a Walmart exclusive in 2018, under the Vintage G1 label, using the version of the mold from The Transformers Collection release, complete with a Megatron gun. However, he still retains the elongated null-rays and cluster bombs from the Commemorative Series release. His eyes have also been painted gold rather than using the old terrible sticker across the bridge of his nose. His rubsign is an all-new type used on all of the Vintage G1 toys; the insignia only turns red rather than the mood-ring multicolor of older rubsigns, plus the silver border is mirror-level reflective.
