Part of the canceled fifth wave of Target exclusive 2007 movie series Scouts along with Reverb and Gunbarrel, Backtrack is a redeco of Cybertron Lugnutz, transforming into a motorcycle resembling a Harley-Davidson touring bike. Plugging a Cyber Key into his left saddlebag in either mode would have flipped up a portion of his right tailpipe to reveal a (non-firing) blaster and missile rack from his right saddlebag. His left tailpipe assembly would have become his rifle.In early 2010, about two years after the first samples had surfaced, considerable quantities of the three unreleased Scouts were sold on eBay. Each of them came packaged with two instruction sheets, one in English and one in Spanish, suggesting that the batch was initially intended for the Mexican market. However, based on information from Mexican fans, the toys never actually made it to retail there.This sculpt was also used to make Hightail.
