Part of the third wave of Legacy Voyager Class toys, "Armada Universe Starscream” is a remarkably faithful recreation of his character model from the Armada cartoon, yet oddly with colors based on the Thrilling 30 toy. He transforms into a cartoon-accurate jet in 18 steps. Rather than having a detaching wing piece transforming into his weapon accessory, his wing sword (referred to as an Energon Sword by the official product description) is a seperate, non-converting accessory. Starscream also comes with a simplified Star Saber accessory, allowing him to dual-wield swords in robot mode. Like the original Armada toy and Thrilling 30 versions of this character, Starscream features articulated turbines that double as over the shoulder cannons.
