Metroplex, the first Titan Class figure from the Legacy’s line, is a fraggin’ huge figure that standing at 22 inches (55 cm) in robot mode according to his Giant Planet origins. While mostly accurate to his source material, his work mode has been edited to be slightly different from his original design, having a new ”welding mask” design for his work-mode head. His robot mode is extensively articulated, even including an opening mouth, and transforms into a Gigantion bucket-wheel excavator in 52 steps.
Metroplex comes with his signature ”Sparkdrinker” axe, which can separate into its rotary saw and excavator claw halves to form the arms of his work mode. It also forms his shovel for his excavator mode. Unfortunately, Drill Bit did not return for this iteration, making Metroplex the first non-Combiner Titan figure to not include a smaller partner. Additionally, his Cyber Planet Key is also absent, both it and Drill Bit having been cut for budget reasons. He features a light piping effect that makes his eyes and forehead glow red.
Fold-out panels in Metroplex’s legs feature A.I.R. Lock System connectors, allowing him to connect, if somewhat awkwardly due to their height, to Modulators, Battle Masters and various other toys from the War for Cybertron Trilogy.
