Released in the fourth wave of Energon "Energon Class” toys, Strongarm was redecoed into a powered-up "Energon Strongarm”. This toy uses the slightly-altered Takara "Blastarm” head mold.
Energon Strongarm was released in Japan as a "USA Edition”, available at various stores that had purchased a "TF Station” affiliation from Takara. This release uses Hasbro packaging with Japanese-text stickers to relay important legal information.
The Hasbro stock photo of this toy shows his windshield assembled differently from the original release. The actual released version of the toy retains the original’s assembly. Funky.
