Released as part of the Shattered Glass Collection subline, Starscream is a redeco of Siege Starscream, transforming into a Cybertronian tetrajet. In addition to the blasters included with the original mold, he includes two energy swords that can combine together into a single blade. He features numerous 5mm ports for compatibility with the C.O.M.B.A.T. System.
As a redeco of Siege Starscream, this Starscream is also a heavy shellformer, able to separate the entire robot body from a nearly-complete Tetrajet via a single friction hinge.
In an odd design choice, despite Starscream’s eyes being fully capable of light-piping, the effect is neutered due to his eyes being painted over in a light blue paint. Of course, it’s nothing that a little bit of rubbing alcohol couldn’t take care of. Proceed with caution, however.
Unfortunately, Starscream’s unpaintable joints is notorious for yellowing extremely easily.
Starscream also includes the third issue of IDW Publishing’s Shattered Glass comic, with an exclusive cover featuring spot UV
